Training
•Bullet: 15-credit-hour interdisciplinary curriculum built around new and expanded coursework: Musical Theatre Dance Styles, Contemporary/Commercial Singing Techniques, Telling a Story Through Song, and Musical Theatre History (Before 1960 and 1960 to Present)
•Bullet: Requires a production or performance credit through either the School of Theatre & Dance or the Moores School of Music, integrating acting, singing, and movement training
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: Students petition to add the minor with a cumulative 2.0 GPA; up to four credit hours from a student's major may count toward the 15-hour minor
•Bullet: At least six of the nine required advanced (3000-4000 level) hours must be completed in residence at UH
