•Bullet: The Music Literature/History minor is administered by the Moores School of Music's Musicology Area, led by Professor and Head of Musicology Matthew Dirst alongside faculty including Howard Pollack and Juan Velasquez, covering the historical, cultural, and interpretive context of music across repertoires
•Bullet: All coursework applied toward the minor — including transfer credit — must be approved by the Moores School of Music, and interested students should contact academic advising for the current requirements and approval process
•Bullet: The minor gives non-music majors a formally recognized way to add focused study of music history and literature to another degree
