Audition Expectations
•Instrumental applicants may audition in person, by Zoom, or by submitting audio/video recordings by the posted audition date
•Contact Dr. Jeffrey Boeckman for brass, woodwind, and percussion scheduling; contact Dr. I-Bei Lin for strings repertoire questions
•Sight-reading is provided by faculty for each instrument family
•Percussion applicants may include auxiliary instruments such as drum set, multi-percussion, or world percussion as requested
Recording Guidelines
•Announce your name, intended major, and pieces to be performed
•Identify each composition by title and composer
•Piano accompaniment is preferred unless the work is intended to be unaccompanied
