Transfer Pathway

UCSB's Department of Music names the BA in Music Studies as TAG-eligible for transfer applicants and recommends completing music theory, musicianship, applied performance, music history, and world music coursework at the community college before enrolling. No audition or additional application materials are required for BA admission, though a placement exam is given at the start of the term for course placement.
