Training
•Bullet: The TFDP minor totals 20 units: three core courses (TFDP 100, 101, 109), 4 units from a production course (TFDP 170-175), and a 4-unit upper-division elective from either the Literature/History/Criticism area or the Performance/Design/Screenwriting/Technology area
•Bullet: Unlike the BA major's six specialized tracks, the minor follows one unified structure — a single introductory path through performing-arts literature, performance, and design rather than a chosen concentration
•Bullet: Minor students take courses alongside TFDP majors and can work with department faculty including Professor Kimberly Guerrero (HBO Max's "IT: Welcome to Derry"), scenic designer Christopher Scott Murillo (named "Scenic Designer of the Year"), and filmmaker Christophe Katrib (Best Experimental Film, UFVA conference)
