•Bullet: The Dance minor requires 30 units: 14 lower-division (DNCE 014 Introduction to Choreography, DNCE 019 Introduction to Dance Studies, plus 6 units of movement practice chosen from styles including Hip Hop, Modern, Ballet, Jazz, West African, and Latin American Social Dance) and 16 upper-division units chosen from roughly 15 courses spanning Dance Making, gender and sexuality, Dance Race Property, Hip Hop Collectivity and Change, screen choreography, and production lab
•Bullet: Faculty Undergraduate Advisor Professor Jose Luis Reynoso (Bello) advises minors on electives, scheduling conflicts, department funding, performance opportunities, and professional development
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Dance minors can perform in UCR is Dancing, the department's annual student choreography concert, and in Spring Forward student performance projects alongside BA Dance majors
