•500-word essay explaining what draws you to the study of theatre and what areas you wish to explore as an undergraduate
-Examples: directing, playwriting, literary and historical study, stage management, dramaturgy, theatre management

•Complete Theatre Studies Background Form in SlideRoom
•Includes primary area of interest and how you heard about the program
FOR SCHOLARSHIP CONSIDERATION (optional)
•Upload resume and up to 3 additional supporting items
•Samples of dramatic writing, stage management paperwork, production video or images, sample academic essays, or other related items
•1-4 items total — images up to 5MB each, PDFs up to 10MB each

•Two-step: UConn application (Common App or Coalition) + SlideRoom application + virtual interview
•Submit UConn app by December 1 for merit scholarship & Honors Program consideration
