•Bullet: Three steps: apply to UConn (Common App or Coalition App), submit an Acting-BFA SlideRoom application and audition, and, if selected, attend an in-person callback
•Bullet: Acting must be listed as your first or second choice major on your UConn application
•Bullet: SlideRoom applications for 2027 entry opened August 1, 2026
•Bullet: SlideRoom deadline for Acting is January 1, 2027
•Bullet: First-year UConn application deadline is January 15, 2027; submit by December 1 for automatic University Merit Scholarship and Honors Program consideration
•Bullet: Early Decision SlideRoom and UConn application deadline is November 1, 2026; the Early Decision callback is November 14, 2026
•Bullet: The SlideRoom form asks for the name, phone number, email address, and relationship of two people who can discuss your potential as an actor; letters of recommendation are not needed
•Bullet: The UConn application and the SlideRoom application must both be complete before you receive a confirmed callback slot; callback slots are not guaranteed
