Audition Process
•Bullet: Submit two monologues + one song via SlideRoom video (3.5 min total)
•Bullet: Pieces can be combined into one video or submitted as separate files (max 3)
•Bullet: Slate each piece: your name, character name, and title of the play
•Bullet: Selected applicants invited to in-person callback at UConn Storrs, CT
•Bullet: Sign up for earliest available date — it is to your advantage
•Bullet: 50-minute Group Call: warm-up, improvisation work, cold reads of provided text
•Bullet: Wear clothes that allow you to move freely and breathe deeply
•Bullet: You will have time to change before your individual slot
•Bullet: 15-minute Individual Audition: perform the two monologues and song from your SlideRoom submission
•Bullet: You choose the order — announce pieces before beginning
•Bullet: Do not use dialects or accents other than your own — faculty wants to hear your natural voice
•Bullet: Callback will be video recorded to share with all performance faculty
