•Bullet: Explores how music was written, played, and heard in the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, training students on period instruments and historically informed performance techniques
•Bullet: Deepens interpretive skills and cultural context for performers, educators, or anyone drawn to early-music traditions, complementing a primary performance or education major
Facilities
•Bullet: Students play UCO's custom harpsichord, built in 2013 by Bennight, and take part in chamber ensembles exploring repertoire ranging from medieval and Renaissance works to contemporary pieces by living composers
