Training
•Develops the skills to support other performers in real time — musical sensitivity, adaptability, and ensemble communication — by directly accompanying soloists, chamber groups, and large ensembles in rehearsal and performance
•Pairs naturally with music education, performance, or composition majors and leads toward UCO's Master of Music in Collaborative Piano for students who want to continue at the graduate level
Facilities
•Rehearses and performs on Steinway pianos as part of UCO's "All-Steinway School" designation, plus the UCO Keyboard Ensemble (Clavinorchestra), which pairs Steinway instruments with Yamaha Clavinovas across multiple keyboard groups
