Audition Requirements

Dance

Group Audition

On-campus group audition; registration required and individual times are not scheduled.

Ballet barre warm-up followed by ballet, jazz, and modern center work; combinations are taught during the audition.

Select students may be asked to present a 1-minute solo in ballet, modern, or jazz; prepare music on your phone.

Out-of-state or international students unable to attend on campus may request a video audition link.

Attire

Leotard or fitted tank covering the full torso; no baggy T-shirts.

Solid-color tights or leggings; no shorts.

Ballet and jazz shoes for respective classes.

Appropriate undergarments required, such as sports bras or dance belts as needed.

Additional Materials

Resume (Required)

Include dance performance and dance studio participation experience.

Headshot / Photo (Required)

Submit a photo; a headshot or dance photo taken with your phone is acceptable.

References (Required)

Provide three references with email or phone contact information.
