Training
•Six-course minor: Press Start foundations course, one Media Theory course, one Media History course, one Media Practice & Design course, and two electives; an optional fourth-year Capstone sequence (Methodologies and Production) replaces two electives and includes spring exposition participation
•Courses are numbered by cluster — Theory (10000s), History (15000s), Practice & Design (20000s), Electives (25000s) — the same numbering the BA major uses
Professional Development
•Minors compile a portfolio of digital media artworks and/or historical and theoretical writing, including an artist statement, project case studies, and supporting documentation
Facilities
•The Media Arts, Data, and Design (MADD) Center provides VR equipment and gaming facilities, with additional production equipment available through the Logan Center for the Arts Equipment Cage
Degree Flexibility
•Minor coursework may not be double-counted toward a student's major, another minor, or general education requirements
