Individualized course of study shaped with faculty advisors around student interests
Coursework clusters include acting, dance, devising, design, directing, dramaturgy, media arts, performance studies, and theater history
TAPS courses combine studio, seminar, and studio-seminar work across practice and theory
1300-unit major includes 11 elective courses and a capstone BA project

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Court Theatre - UChicago's professional resident theatre - provides direct collaboration opportunities for TAPS students
Court Theatre and TAPS collaborative team recognized with nine Jeff Awards
BA project may be original artistic work with critical writing or an academic thesis with performative presentation
Honors eligibility with 3.25+ overall GPA and 3.5+ in the major
