•12-course major: Press Start foundations course, two Media Theory courses, two Media History courses, three Media Practice & Design courses, and four electives; an optional Capstone Track (added Autumn 2025) swaps in two Capstone courses — Methodologies and Production — with spring exposition participation
•Faculty organized by cluster, including Creative Computing (Nick Briz, Diana Franklin, Pedro Lopes, Ken Nakagaki, Jason Salavon, Jon Satrom), Games (Katherine Buse, Patrick Jagoda, Ashlyn Sparrow), and Media Performance (Heidi Coleman, Rasean Davonté Johnson, John Muse)
Professional Development
•Students compile a graduation portfolio of digital media artworks and/or historical and theoretical writing, including an artist statement and project case studies
Facilities
•The Media Arts, Data, and Design (MADD) Center offers VR equipment and gaming facilities; students also draw on the Logan Center for the Arts and its Equipment Cage
Degree Flexibility
•Up to four courses may count toward both MADD and a second major, though capstone requirements cannot be shared between programs
