Good to Know

Application Logistics

Submit the Musical Theatre prescreen through Acceptd; the 2026-27 portal opens September 1, 2026

Submit a separate UCF undergraduate application no later than January 12, 2027 for program consideration

Applicants do not need to wait for a UCF admission decision before submitting through Acceptd

UCF uses Musical Theater Common Prescreen Song Option B, Monologue Option A, Dance Option B, optional Ballet Option B, and an optional Wild Card

Eligibility

Summer or Fall start required; students do not begin theatre courses in Spring

All BFA students are accepted provisionally for the first year and reviewed for continuation

A final program offer requires admission to UCF

Important Notes

The Acceptd portal's structured "chosen options" list states Dance Option B, but a separate paragraph on the same page states "Dance: A" — this profile follows the structured options list (Option B), which also matches the stored dance requirement text; the discrepancy remains unresolved by the school

What's The Process

Audition Process

Acceptd submissions open September 1, 2026 and close January 5, 2027 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern

Applicants selected for an on-campus callback are notified by January 11, 2027

Callback dates are January 23, January 30, and February 13, 2027

Applicants choose from available callback dates; some applicants may be admitted directly from the prescreen without a callback
