PROGRAM RECOGNITION
•Designed to prepare students for careers in theatre and entertainment that support stage work
•Five specializations: Applied Performance, Administration & Directing, Technical Production, Education, and Theatre Studies/Dramaturgy
•Each specialization requires a paired minor or second major for a well-rounded career focus
•Students take the same core courses as all theatre majors, providing a thorough foundation
•Approximately 60 students accepted per year
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
•Students may audition for Theatre UCF productions and participate in backstage areas
•Opportunities to work with Central Florida Community Arts, The Renaissance Theatre, Orlando Family Stage, and Orlando Shakes
•Independent study courses available in cooperation with community arts organizations
