The 22-unit minor pairs 16 units of upper-division electives — spanning jazz and rock history, film music, world-music surveys, and electronic music composition — with 6 units of ensemble participation

Ensemble options include Symphony Orchestra under Music Director Christian Baldini, Chamber Singers and Chorus under Nicolás Dosman, Jazz Bands under Otto Lee, Concert Band, Indonesian Gamelan, and Afro-Cuban percussion/samba ensembles
