Training
•Rather than the major's four-semester technique requirement, dance-history coursework, and choreography sequence culminating in Choreography: Solo & Duet Showcase, the minor asks only for five upper-division courses, at least three of them inside the department.
•Students pick a sample track — choreography, performance, performance studies, or technical production — or build a customized focus with the undergraduate advisor's approval, rather than meeting the major's breadth requirements.
Degree Flexibility
•Every minor course is taken for a letter grade, a repeated course number counts at most twice toward the minor, and the GPA floor is 2.0 in upper-division units — the minor is confirmed by enrolling in one TDPS course and contacting the advisor.
