Application Logistics
•Apply to the BMus/BEd combined degree and follow the Elementary Education route requirements in the UAlberta Calendar.
•The first three years are completed in the Faculty of Arts; the final two years are completed in the Faculty of Education.
Program Requirements
•Elementary-route students complete music, education, and elementary curriculum coursework, including elementary school music pedagogy.
•Students who are not keyboard first-practical-subject students must meet the published piano proficiency requirement.
