Application Logistics

•Apply to the University of Arizona; the Fall 2027 university application opens August 1, 2026

•The current School of Music portal states that undergraduate BM applicants no longer submit an Acceptd application

•Confirm 2027 recorded-audition submission or live-audition scheduling instructions directly with the School of Music

•Apply by the November 1 Early Action deadline to maximize university admission and merit-aid consideration

Placement

•Admitted students take music theory and aural-skills placement exams at orientation; these are for course placement, not admission

What's The Process

Audition Process

•One audition on your principal instrument, taken one of three ways: recorded audition submission, live online, or live in-person on campus

•Scheduled live audition dates: February 19 and March 5, 2027

•Additional auditions may be arranged individually with the area faculty

•Confirm the 2027 audition submission or scheduling method directly with the School of Music; undergraduate Acceptd applications are no longer required
