Transfer Pathway

BFA Theatre Design is an internal sophomore-year pathway rather than a direct first-year entry route. Transfer students should first complete Tulane transfer admission, then plan early with Theatre and Dance faculty for the Design Program application.

Audition Process

BFA in Design is not available to incoming freshmen

Students apply to the BFA program during their sophomore year

Submit application to the Head of the Design Program

Theatre and Dance Award consideration for incoming students requires a portfolio through the Green Wave Portal by the posted deadline

Early decision to pursue BFA Design is encouraged due to program demands
