Training
•Dance study spans choreography, performance, improvisation, creative process, and dance traditions including ballet, modern, hip-hop, Afro-Haitian, and kathak dance theatre.
•The minor combines studio practice with critical and cultural study in Tufts’ liberal-arts setting.
Performance
•Students can participate in departmental dance productions and develop original choreographic work with faculty mentorship.
Admissions
•The minor is declared after enrollment; Tufts does not require or accept an artistic audition, interview, tape, or portfolio for undergraduate admission.
