Training
•Interdisciplinary liberal-arts study combines theatre, dance, performance studies, design, production, acting, directing, playwriting, screenwriting, and filmmaking.
•Students complete practical performance, production and technology, design and creative-process work alongside theory, culture, and history.
Production Experience
•Majors participate in the department production program and can build experience in multiple creative and technical roles.
•Electives and thesis work support individualized specialization without a formal auditioned track.
Admissions
•Tufts admits students through the university application; TDPS does not accept or require auditions, interviews, tapes, or portfolios.
