Curriculum
•The interdisciplinary major combines film and media analysis, history, theory, industry study, and hands-on production.
•Students complete core liberal-arts study and build an individualized set of electives across departments, with an optional senior honors thesis.
Production & Careers
•Practice courses develop filmmaking, screenwriting, editing, directing, and collaborative production skills.
•A dedicated internship coordinator connects students with opportunities across film, television, radio, advertising, marketing, public relations, and digital media.
Admissions
•Students enter through Tufts undergraduate admission; the major does not publish a separate audition or portfolio supplement.
