What's The Process
Audition Process
•Email audition@troy.edu to register and begin the process
•Register through the online application form on the TROY Theatre & Dance website
•Prepare application materials prior to registration (uploading from computer recommended)
Audition Results
•Notification via email within two weeks of the Monday following auditions
•Dance notification typically sent by April 1
•Mailed confirmation follows within one week of email
Acceptance Outcomes
•BFA Dance Major accepted: must participate in mandatory summer dance intensive (July 24 - August 30, no cost, may move into dorm)
•Not accepted to BFA: may begin the dance minor, encouraged to enroll in major classes; faculty re-evaluates after two semesters for potential upgrade to BFA
•Dance Minor accepted: begin work during first fall semester
