•Acting concentration builds from intermediate acting and expressive voice into directing/devising, writing for stage and screen, advanced theater technique, and theater history
Productions & Performance
•Department offers two annual main-stage theater productions and two annual dance concerts, plus readings, workshops, student dances, and directing projects
•Majors complete at least three departmental productions and 90 hours of design/production work
Community & Study Away
•Hartford partnerships include public schools and local arts organizations, with internships at groups such as Hartford Stage, HartBeat Ensemble, TheaterWorks, and Real Art Ways
•Trinity/La MaMa Performing Arts Semester offers a fall New York City immersion with seminar, internship, practice classes, weekly performances, and an original production
