Curriculum
•Thirteen-course liberal-arts music major spanning theory, music history, world music, recording arts, American popular music or jazz, and ensemble participation
•Every major completes a senior project or thesis that may take the form of a recital, creative project, or research thesis
Performance
•Four semesters of departmental performance participation are required, with options including instrumental, jazz, steel pan, and samba ensembles
•Students may take consortium courses at the Hartt School of Music and perform with Capitol Symphonic Winds
