Training
•80-credit BFA preparing dancers as technicians, choreographers, and independent artists, grounded in dance theory, repertory, and choreographic practice
•Screened major: students audition, then complete a Foundational First-Year Dance Experience with a 3.00+ GPA before advancing into the upper-division curriculum
•Small classes taught by nationally recognized faculty who are active professional artists, plus a guest-artist program
Performance & Productions
•Majors must audition for the TU Dance Company (DANC 481) at least twice during their studies, performing alongside top dancers from across the university
•Curriculum includes jury and faculty-curated performance requirements each year
