Training
•Bullet: Minor in Theatre and Dance consists of a minimum of six course credits
•Bullet: Two 100-level credits chosen from seven options including Introduction to Theatre Research and Writing, Foundations of Theatrical Design, and Fundamentals for the Performer
•Bullet: One 200-level history/literature/theory/criticism course, chosen from Contemporary Dance History, Dance in World Cultures, Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Contemporary Women Playwrights, Asian Theatre: From South to East, or Black American Theatre and Performance
•Bullet: Three additional credits, at least two at the 300-level, chosen from areas including playwriting, scenic/props design, costume design, lighting design, puppetry and mask design, choreography, directing, ballet for modern dancers, dance-based body awareness, and voice and speech technique
•Bullet: Only grades of C- or better are accepted for the minor
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: Pair coursework across acting, directing, dance, design, technology, and playwriting with a major in any other academic field
•Bullet: No separate admission audition is required to declare the minor — declare through College of Wooster advising
