No Admission Audition Required
•Students apply to the College of Wooster as BA Music candidates
•No audition needed to enroll
Gateway Audition
•Entrance audition before a faculty jury of three near end of second semester
•Must demonstrate ability to perform challenging repertoire representing several historical periods and styles
•Must notify the department chair in writing at least three weeks before the audition
•Second opportunity available in third semester if first attempt is unsuccessful
•Only after passing may the student declare BM Music Performance as their major
Scholarship Audition (Optional)
•Music Scholarship for incoming first-years: $2,000-$8,000/year
•On-campus audition at Scheide Music Center
•Virtual auditions available by request (contact Melissa Puster)
