Training
•Music Performance Specialization is for students who aspire to be music performers and adds advanced performance study to the Music Major
•Voice students complete Vocal Pedagogy & Literature
•Additional studio lessons, concert/recital attendance, junior and senior recitals, and an arts-related internship are part of the specialization
Performance & Productions
•Performance opportunities include opera, musical theatre productions, Chorale, Chamber Singers, Camerata, Jazz Ensemble, and Chamber Music
•The specialization includes Musical Theatre and Opera Workshop among ensemble options
Professional Development
•Students have access to Caldwell Fine Arts and the Langroise Trio, with internship and professional performance exposure
•Advanced students have successfully auditioned for Boise Philharmonic internships
Facilities
•Auditions are held at the Langroise Center for the Performing & Fine Arts on campus
