What's The Process

Audition Process

Audition on your principal instrument or voice

In-person auditions preferred; virtual auditions permitted

Audition is followed by a brief interview to discuss interests and goals

Audition Expectations

Placement evaluation: first-time and transfer applicants complete music theory and sight-singing exams as part of the audition

Educator Preparation Program (Post-Enrollment)

After enrolling, students apply separately to the Educator Preparation Program (2.75 GPA, EDUC 2003 with a C or higher, pre-admission departmental interview)
