Audition Process
•Audition on your principal instrument or voice and participate in a placement evaluation
•In-person auditions preferred; virtual auditions permitted
•Audition is followed by a brief interview to discuss interests and goals
EDUCATOR PREPARATION PROGRAM (post-enrollment)
•After enrolling, students apply separately to the Educator Preparation Program (2.75 GPA, EDUC 2003 with a C or higher, pre-admission departmental interview)
Post-Enrollment Placement
•Music theory/sight-singing placement exam required as part of audition day — for course placement only, not admission
