The Musical Theatre emphasis combines Acting I and II, Voice and Speech for Actors, Movement for Actors, Fundamentals of Music, Foundations of Theatre Dance and repeated Dance Styles study.

Eleven hours of private voice lessons accompany Survey of Musical Theatre and Acting Styles: Musical Theatre.

Performance & Productions

Theatre Arts Practicum is required every semester, while Technical Theatre I and II, theatre/stage management, theatrical makeup and an upper-level design option broaden production experience.

Capstone

The fourth year includes Directing, both semesters of theatre history and a three-credit Senior Project; students also choose an advanced scenic, costume, lighting or sound course in the final term.
