Audition Process
•Choose either a performance audition or a technical theatre interview based on your interest
•For scholarship consideration only, not required for program admission
•Must first apply and be accepted to Texas Wesleyan University
•Log into the Admissions Portal and click "Theatre Scholarship Audition/Interview" to submit your details
•A theatre faculty member will contact you via email to confirm
•Visits are on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 9:00am to 3:00pm
•Provide 2-3 potential dates that fit your schedule
Audition Expectations
•Join students in Technical Theatre and Acting classes
•Complete your scholarship audition or interview
•Free lunch included
•Meet with your admissions counselor
•Campus and theatre facility tour
•See a Theatre Wesleyan show (on select dates)
•Portfolio reviews (tech path) do not take place in the theatre facility; no access to equipment
