APPLICATION PROCESS
•First apply to TSU via ApplyTexas or TSU Application Center
•Then petition the Department of Visual and Performing Arts for admission
•No separate audition portal — audition arranged directly through Department Office
ACADEMIC STANDARDS
•120 total credit hours required (42 core + 44 major + 12 concentration + 18 minor + 4 other)
•All concentration courses must be completed with grades of C or better
•12 concentration credit hours: Acting III, Acting IV, Senior Projects, plus approved elective

DEPARTMENT ADMISSION
•Schedule a personal interview through the Department Office
•Perform an audition as part of the admission procedure
•Once admitted, assigned a faculty advisor for continuous advisement each semester
SENIOR REQUIREMENTS
•Senior year: must meet approval of faculty panel before enrolling in Senior Projects
•Exit examination required of all graduating seniors
