Audition Process
•The Jazz Studies minor is open to music and non-music majors who qualify by audition
•Prepare a jazz-idiom selection, improvise over one or two standards or a blues progression, sight-read, and perform a variety of scales
•Instrument-specific checks may include melody, comping/figures, or time feels and big-band figures
