•22-credit minor open to undergraduates across the university, spanning ballet, modern and postmodern, and African diasporic dance forms
•Includes 8 credits of dance theory and practicum alongside technique classes
•Faculty have performed with the Martha Graham Dance Company, Metropolitan Opera, and Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company and hold NEA, Guggenheim, and Fulbright awards
•Admission by interview and audition; minor credit requires a grade of C- or higher
Performance & Productions
•Performance opportunities through the Temple University Dance Ensemble, a repertory-based resident company, staged at the 175-seat Conwell Dance Theater
Degree Flexibility
•Pairs with any major; a separate 22-credit Minor in Hip Hop Dance and Culture is also available
