Temple application fee is $55; fee waivers are available for qualifying first-year applicants

Admission Pathway

Acting Concentration is not available to incoming first-year students

Students begin in the BA Theater program and may follow the recommended acting-focused curriculum before the internal audition

Transfer Pathway

The Acting Concentration publishes alternative routes for students transferring from other departments, schools, or universities. Placement is determined with the Theater advisor and the head of the Acting Program before the required internal audition.

What's The Process

Audition Process

No audition required for incoming first-year admission to Temple University or the BA Theater program

Students first enroll in the BA Theater program and build toward the Acting Concentration internally

Post-Enrollment

Acting Concentration is available starting junior year

Acting-focused students audition internally at the end of sophomore year

Students are not officially in the Acting Concentration until they successfully audition before the Acting Faculty
