Audition Requirements
PORTFOLIO PRESENTATION (required, 2-5 min)
•May include examples of performance, devising, technical work, design projects, playwriting, directing, and/or stage management materials
INTERVIEW RESPONSE (required)
•Oral response (in-person or video) or written response to three questions:
-Why are you interested in a theatre program that focuses on creating original works and devised theatre methods?
-How have you collaborated with classmates who had different strengths, experiences or viewpoints than yours?
-What are your creative and professional goals and how do they connect with what the program offers?

ELIGIBILITY
•Must be accepted to Texas A&M University, College Station campus
•Students must be accepted to both the university and the Theatre program
TRANSFER REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum 24 transferable hours, maximum 75
•2.75 GPR overall
•Spring admission: submit audition by Dec 1
•Fall admission: submit audition by July 1
CHANGE-OF-MAJOR REQUIREMENTS
•2.75 GPA
•Completion of core math, science, and English/communications (3 hours each)
•Maximum 60 credit hours
What's The Process
AUDITION FORMAT
•Portfolio presentation (2-5 min) plus oral or written response to three questions
•In-person auditions available at regional events and on campus
•Digital auditions accepted via Acceptd
•Notification of results within approximately two weeks (digital may take longer)
