Scholarship Performance Option
•Submit one 1–3 minute monologue video

Essay (Required)
•Submit a one-page essay describing how the scholarship would support your theatrical skills and education
Creative Sample (Playwriting Applicants)
•Submit a 5–10 page writing sample in the form of a play
Resume (Technical Theatre Applicants)
•Submit a one-page resume describing your experience
•Applicants must first be admitted to Sweet Briar College
•Use the Theatre Scholarship form for the published Fall 2026 opportunity
Transfer Pathway
TRANSFER PATHWAY
• Virginia community-college graduates with a transfer-oriented degree and at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA receive guaranteed admission
• A qualifying transfer degree waives the Leadership Core, allowing students to begin remaining BA Performing Arts requirements
