•AVID Learning Partner curriculum prepares students for the AVID Pro Tools certification exams at the beginning and intermediate levels, culminating in eligibility to qualify as an AVID Pro Tools Operator
•Coursework includes Advanced Audio Recording & Production, Post Production Techniques, Music Production Techniques, and Music Notation with Sibelius
Facilities
•Audio/sound instruction began in the Theatre program in 1990; SUNY Niagara became the first college in New York State affiliated with Digidesign in 2001 and is a Certified Training Facility
•Features the largest collection of ProTools workstations in the area with over 50 systems and 4 HD rigs, plus microphones, digital mixers, synthesizers, and a state-of-the-art 5.1 sound system installed in the theater
