Audition Expectations
•Crane does not pre-screen auditions; all applicants are welcome to audition
•On-campus, limited off-campus (Long Island), and video audition options available
•Most of the audition should be performed on nylon-string classical guitar
•Sight-read single-line melodies up through the fifth position; strong music-reading skills are essential
•No registration fee for on-campus auditions
•$50 non-refundable registration fee for off-campus auditions
•Upload videos to Acceptd as part of the registration form
•Submit a separate, unedited video for each piece
Decisions
•Audition results typically arrive within two to three weeks
•Results are sent only to applicants who have completed the SUNY Potsdam college application
