•Fully online, part-time MM designed for in-service music teachers who already hold an initial teaching certificate
•30-credit curriculum: 24 required credits in music history, theory, music education, and research methods, plus 6 elective credits
•Culminates in MUS 690 Master's Project or MUS 695 Master's Thesis
•Coursework taught by Dr. Carolyn Guzski (Graduate Music History), Dr. Kerry Renzoni (Curriculum and Early Childhood Methods), Dr. Mark Filsinger (Jazz Styles), and Music Education Coordinator Dr. Victoria Furby (Research Methods)
•Includes special-needs coursework required for New York State professional certification
Professional Development
•Sequential, part-time design begins each summer with a six-year window to complete degree requirements
•Follows National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) guidelines
