Audition Process
•Performance audition and interview with music faculty required for Music Department admission
•In-person or online video audition accepted
•Decisions within 1-2 weeks of audition
•All students interviewed by music faculty for department admission
•In-person: interview follows audition
•Online: interview scheduled individually after video submission
Audition Expectations
•Multiple on-campus audition dates available (auditions begin at 1 p.m.)
•Vocalists provided an accompanist for on-campus auditions
•Instrumentalists not required to perform with an accompanist
•Submit via the Music Department online application system
•Videos should be unedited, uploaded as YouTube unlisted links
•Fall 2026 deadline: July 15, 2026
•Vocalists may use live pianist, recorded track, live band, or self-accompaniment
