On-Campus Audition
•Two-hour technique class with modern and ballet components
•ONE-MINUTE SELF-CHOREOGRAPHED SOLO in dance style of your choice
•No costumes or tap shoes
•Music can be played from a phone or iPod
Video Audition
•Short verbal introduction stating why you want to study dance at SUNY Brockport and your career goals
•WARMUP of your choice, no more than 4 minutes (ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, African, etc.)
•COMBINATION in style of your choice, no more than 4 minutes (modern, ballet, African, hip-hop, jazz, etc.)
Attire (on-Campus)
•Form-fitted dancewear that allows faculty to see alignment
•Ballet slippers for ballet segment
•Bare feet for modern dance segment
