•Bullet: Shenandoah describes this as the first degree of its kind and one of the country’s only undergraduate programs devoted to musical theatre accompanying.
Training
•Bullet: Study traditional piano and musical theatre repertoire every semester through private lessons, with an additional jazz-piano lesson sequence and supporting work in theatre and dance.
•Bullet: Build working knowledge across operetta, golden-age, contemporary, pop and rock styles while learning arranging, rehearsal accompaniment and musical-theatre history.
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Play for as many as three musical productions each year, plus solo singers, auditions, classes and ensembles; students may also work with the professional Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre company.
