Dedicated Stage Management I and II coursework plus a capstone Stage Management Internship in the senior year
Broad technical foundation in lighting, scenic design, costuming, drafting, properties, and directing before specializing
Six required theatre production participations with opportunities to serve as assistant or production stage manager
Small class sizes with one-on-one mentoring from professional faculty
Stage Management Certificate (12 credits) available for additional specialization or non-majors
Second year: serve as Assistant Stage Managers under upper-class students
Third and fourth year: stage manage departmental productions including plays, musicals, and operas
