•Guided improvisational section
ATTIRE
•Wear form-fitting clothing
•Hair must be pulled back
VIDEO AUDITION GUIDELINES (if unable to attend in person)
•Learn and film audition material from the Stockton Dance YouTube video
•Use music that supports the phrases provided
•Full body must be visible in frame
•State full name at beginning of recording
•Upload to Vimeo, YouTube, or Google Drive
•Email video link to dance@stockton.edu

APPLICATION PROCESS
•Apply to Stockton University via Common App
•Dance audition required for all incoming dance majors and minors
•Acceptance contingent upon university admission
ELIGIBILITY
•Open to incoming first-year and transfer students
•Rolling university admissions
What's The Process
AUDITION DAY SCHEDULE
•2:00 PM — Registration (Dance Studio, H104)
•2:30-4:00 PM — Audition class (ballet barre, modern center, jazz combination)
•4:00-4:30 PM — Q&A with faculty and students
•4:30-7:30 PM — Break
•7:30-9:00 PM — Spring Dance Concert (attendees invited)
VIDEO AUDITION OPTION
•Available for students unable to attend in person
•Film yourself performing the provided audition material
•Email video link to dance@stockton.edu
•Response within 1-2 weeks
