Audition Process

•No audition or prescreen required for admission to the program

•Admitted through the university application process

•Optional audition for Theatre Performance Scholarship ($2,000/year)

•Submit scholarship application by March 15

•30-minute virtual interview with admissions staff

•Finalists invited by email to perform one contemporary monologue (1-2 min)

•Faculty coaching session and Q&A included in audition

Theatre Performance Scholarship

•$2,000 per year, renewable for up to four years

•Must major in Theatre and Media Performance

•Can be combined with other Stevenson merit-based awards

•Submit scholarship application by March 15

•30-minute virtual interview with admissions staff

•Finalists selected by email for monologue audition round

•Recipients must audition for every production

•Not eligible to also receive the Theatre Involvement Scholarship

Theatre Involvement Scholarship

•$1,300 per year, renewable for up to four years

•Open to any major

•Can be combined with other Stevenson merit-based awards

•Submit scholarship application by March 15

•30-minute virtual interview

•Recipients complete involvement hours each semester (acting, stage management, crew, front of house, costumes, props, makeup/hair, marketing, or box office)
